If an event involves activities in a public place, or uses volunteers from outside your group membership, you must consult with your insurance agent to determine if additional insurance, liability or otherwise, is required.

It is a good idea to consult with your insurance agent before any fundraising activity, giving him or her ample time to deal with your required coverage.
