Chartered Accountant Norman Franks heads up the TITAN Timepieces NPO program. Throughout his career, Mr. Franks has been a participant and consultant in a variety of community NPO program.
His knowledge and experience in this work led to a book on NPO fund raising. Mr. Franks strongly believes that the TITAN concept can become an effective additional tool for non-profit fund raising in North America.
Jeffrey Barnett, Chairman of the Board of Tickers, has spent a lifetime supporting worthy causes, principally the fund raising activities of Variety International.
In his leadership roles, he has spearheaded programs that have raised more than $7 million for the international children’s charity.
Mr. Barnett was Chair for three years and Special Events Chair for five years of the Variety Telethon in British Columbia. As Telethon Chair, Mr. Barnett developed an organizational structure which became the Telethon standard. Following his example, four heads of sub-committees subsequently became Telethon Chairmen.
